Magnetic filter

The FDM® (magnetic deflector filter) range, exploits the magnetic field generated by a series of Neodymium discs rotating along a cylindrical steel axis, to separate ferromagnetic particles present within the fluid fed to the device under laminar regime conditions. This technology is entirely custom-designed and manufactured according to specific requirements, such as the flow rate of coolant fluid required by the Machine Tool and the nature of the material being processed.

The application of this technology is possible with multiple fluid types, materials and machining processes:

• Type of fluid: oil emulsions, whole oil and water;
• Materials and alloys: ferromagnetic materials;
• Type of machining: dictated by the machine tool.
